Located on an ancient dune ridge with views towards the coastal forest and the Indian Ocean, Gugulesizwe & Little Gugs offers a unique bushveld experience in structured tents situated amongst gnarled water berries and verdant wild date palms only 24 km from Mabibi on the Elephant Coast.

This guesthouse offers guests a choice of 10 uniquely designed rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. All units can accommodate 2 adults and the Family Room can also accommodate an additional 2 children. Each unit has a private bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Guests have full access to the relevant lodge which will be either at Gugulesizwe or Little Gugs. It offers a lovely swimming pool where guests can cool off and catch some sun on those hot summer days. Additionally, each lodge has a guest lounge, a bar with a coffee station as well as a dining space where guests can enjoy their included vegetarian meals.

The lodge includes a lovely boma with a central firepit where guests can gather around in the evening and spend some quality time together. Activities naturally focus on the nearby beach where guests can go snorkeling and a short 4×4 drive from the camp brings you to Lala Nek, a child-friendly snorkeling site.
