Description
Iwamanzi Game Lodge is a luxury game lodge set on a 5000-acre privately owned game reserve of unspoiled bush, a piece of paradise and part of a conservancy of 40,000-acres of bushveld with an airstrip. Iwamanzi means ‘place of the falling waters’. The game reserve is home to many antelope species as well as rhino, hippo and buffalo. Experience Africa in classic safari style, just 2 hours from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Iwamanzi Game Lodge comprises 5 luxury chalets and a main lodge built in a gorge with breathtaking views over the Selon river.
Each chalet contains a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, and its own private wooden deck. Room facilities include a hairdryer, a fan and a heater, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a mini-bar, a work desk and a lamp.
The main lodge area contains a bar, a large dining area, 2 comfortable lounge areas and 2 fireplaces, a covered upper deck, a lower deck with a firepit, and a sparkling swimming pool with a lounging deck. A second firepit on the river bank is ideal for evening gatherings under the African sky. Wi-Fi is available in the main lodge area.
Enjoy welcome drinks on arrival. Tasty meals are prepared by the lodge’s chef in an Italian and South African way. Good South African wines are also available.
