This self-catering accommodation is situated on a working farm that’s accessed via a gravel road which is approximately 29 km from the R354 en route to Sutherland. Known to be one of the coldest towns in the country, and even more popular for its clear skies for stargazing, Sutherland proves to be the ideal place for a tranquil stay.
This accommodation can sleep up to 10 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living area. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. Both the second and third bedroom contains 1 double bed and 1 single bed, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. The second and third bathrooms are both fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, and there’s also a separate toilet.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, toaster, microwave, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. There’s a dining table with chairs as well as a dining room with a second dining table. The living area is furnished with a lounge suite and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi, but only MTN, is also available. There’s also a braai room which has extra seating and guests can unwind on the spacious lawn in front of the property. Secure parking is available on the premises.
