Description

Karos Avontuurplaas is a picturesque camping destination located approximately 25 km from Laingsburg that offers a unique experience in the heart of the Karoo. Situated between the Klein Swartberge and the mighty Buffelsrivier, this valley is the perfect place to relax, play and camp in peace and quiet.

Karos offers 4 camping stands, of which 3 can accommodate 6 guests and one which accommodates 4 guests. Each site features braai facilities and access to running waters. Guests share the use of ablution facilities that include hot-water showers and toilets. The communal kitchen has a sink for washing dishes. Additionally, the campsite has solar-powered lights. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Activities on the farm include guided mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, fishing and swimming. Guests are welcome to bring their pets on their camping trip.

From Karos Avontuurplaas, guests can visit Floriskraaldam, Vleiland, Seweweekspoort and Anysberg. The campsite is also part of the popular Klein Karoo Gravel Corridor route, making it a convenient stop on the way if guests wish to avoid tar roads.
