La Plume Villa

Was a great few days away, accommodation was very comfortable.

The kids enjoyed the pool, was a fantastic private spot for the family to enjoy. The staff were very helpful and the food was very delicious. Only thing there was no dishwasher.

Pragtige huis, gerieflik, ontspannend.

Ons het sommer baie lekker uitgerus by La Plume, die dekor is fantasties en die gasheer doen baie moeite met die klein dingetjies wat jou verblyf besonders aangenaam maak. Baie dankie.

Excellent way to recharge

We stayed at the villa for 3 nights. The host was warm and attentive. The villa itself was clean, furnished charmingly in an old world way with massive rooms and solid wooden floors and furniture. The braai equipment and wood set out before our arrival were a nice touch and our children were kept busy by the splash pool. It is a very quiet area, which is what we were looking for in our breakaway. Having ostriches very close by made the experience unforgettable.

Absolutely great villa, wonderful stay and a great establishment.

A beautiful villa with its own pool and space for days. A ostrich paddock right in front of the villa which keeps the little ones entertained. Pet friendly, which is a bonus.

Neat and tidy with some cons.

Very clean for such an old place. Unfortunately the main room smelled a lot. The bed was extremely hard. The DStv didn’t work. Grateful for the aircon and plunge pool. Doesn’t have all the basics needed for self-catering like salt and pepper, dishwasher soap etc.

Perfekte wegbreek vir 'n moeë liggaam en siel.

Dankie aan Karin wat vir ons 'n plekkie gemaak het. Alles was perfek. Die personeel was so gaaf, vriendelik en niks was te veel moeite nie. Die verwelkomingsdrankies was heerlik en so mooi. Aandete - wel kom honger, want hier smul jy totdat jy gaan lê. Lekker kos waarop ek as Suid-Afrikaner trots is - dink aan koperpennieslaai, kerrieboontjies, springbok-carpaccio, volstruis-steak, gebraaide aartappels, koeksisters, trifle ens. Ons het in die Villa gebly, baie privaat, so pragtig gemeubileer en groot. Die swembadjie gee perfekte lafenis vir die Karoo-hitte, maar die lekkerste was die stilte, die lang stappies op die plaas en my môre-sê vir die volstruise.
