Description

Long Thin Farm is a charming farm with 2 cottages and a main farm house on the property. The idyllic getaway is far enough for a retreat to enjoy the tranquillity of nature but close enough to enjoy the town's eateries and beach vibe.

Stone Cottage has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and can each accommodate 4 guests. Milkwood cottage has a bedroom that is furnished with a queen-size bed. Each cottage includes a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The cottages are not located on the river bed, they are a short walk through the farm's own olive grove and are slightly elevated giving you the most incredible river views from each cottage veranda.

The Manor House can accommodate 6 people and comprises 2 bedrooms downstairs furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, as well as an upstairs loft bedroom furnished with 2 single beds. The 2 bathrooms are located downstairs and include bath and shower facilities.

Each unit has a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, stove, oven, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each cottage features a patio with seating, while the farm house features a verandah with seating, a pool overlooking the river, a braai area, and a pizza oven. The property features its own vineyard, olive grove, private river jetty, riverside picnic areas, kayaks, and paddleboards, as well as a jungle gym for the kids.

Mountain walks, challenging mountain biking, wonderful birdlife, homegrown olive oil, a night sky full of stars, and, depending on the time of year, olive and grape picking are all available to guests.
