Description

Magnifik Montagu is a beautiful farmhouse that offers self-catering accommodation on a working fig, pecan, olive, and fruit farm, right in the heart of Montagu within easy walking distance of local shops, bars, and restaurants. The house is nestled amongst the fig trees for privacy while providing uninterrupted stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The tastefully furnished house can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 large bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed. While both bedrooms are identical, each with its stunning views, there's an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a walk-in shower. Each bathroom opens onto a private courtyard with an outdoor shower. For guests' convenience, linen and towels are provided.

There is a spacious, open-plan living area with high ceilings and a kitchen centred around an 8-seater dining table and lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, Smeg gas stove, oven, Smeg microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, and dishwasher.

The house opens onto a large verandah with an outside 6-seater dining table, armchairs, and a couch with ample space to unwind or enjoy alfresco meals. On warm summer days, guests can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool or relax on one of the sun loungers in the garden. Large stackable doors open to both the veranda and private entrance courtyard with a fountain, ensuring that feeling of bringing the outside in, but allowing in those cool summer breezes.

Recently added is a fire pit with a pizza oven to fully appreciate those warm Karoo evenings. Guests have access to braai facilities.
