Melk Houte Bosch Manor House is located in Swellendam, Western Cape, on a working farm along the Breede River, just 34 km outside Swellendam and about 230 km from Cape Town. The farm offers quality accommodation and is ideal for families or a group of friends.
The spacious mansion can sleep 8 guests and has 4 en-suite bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds, and the remaining 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, and coffee- and tea-making facilities and offers a view of the open-plan dining and lounge area. The lounge area has a TV with DStv and a fireplace and leads to an indoor braai and lounge area with a table tennis table and a pool table. The house is fitted with an inverter system for power outages.
The visiting area leads to a veranda with a refreshing pool, offering a rejuvenating respite from the heat during summer days while taking advantage of the beautiful view of the surroundings and the Langeberg.
