The farm is in a stunning setting and offers great self-guided game and bird viewing walks as well as horse- and pony rides (by prior arrangement please!). There are plenty of things to do and recreational facilities in the nearby area like Zip-lining, Hunting Safaris, Elephant Rides, Quad Trails, Fishing at Mokolo Dam, Marakele National Park (Big 5), D'Nyala Game & Nature Reserve or visit one of the local little towns which offer a variety of shopping opportunities and restaurants.

Olievenhoutsrus is also conveniently situated en-route to Botswana, which makes it the perfect stop-over for the overland camper. For these adventurers we have a Bushveld Camp-site with running water (heated via donkey). This site is tucked away in the bushveld separate from the Main Lodge. A fantastic place to view the many game species! Ablutions include: flushing toilet/shower and two basins as well as an outdoor dishwashing facility. There is also a boma area with braai pit.

We have 2x cosy Rondavels (each sleeps 2) which are furnished with a double bed, en suite bathroom, an open-plan lounge with TV, fan and kitchenette (fridge/microwave/coffee tray) as well as a patio with braai. If necessary a sleeper couch can be provided in the lounge to accommodate small children.

There is 1x Family Cottage with 3 bedrooms (main bedroom with double bed and two rooms each with two single beds), a split-bathroom, separate toilet, an open-plan lounge with TV and kitchen area with fridge/microwave/coffee&tea tray/oven&stove combo. This unit sleeps 6.

The second Family Cottage has 2 bedrooms (main bedroom with double bed, 2nd bedroom with 2x single or bunkbed), bathroom, an open-plan lounge with TV/kitchen/dinning area (fridge/microwave/coffee&tea tray/oven&stove combo). This unit has a private garden area with patio and braai.
