Description
The Omdraai Guest Farm and Venue offers comfortable and modern accommodation as well as a wedding venue on a working farm just outside Ficksburg in the Free State. The farm is located near to the Lesotho border and offers uninterrupted views of the Maluti Mountains. The farm is in close proximity to bigger cities making it the ideal location for a quick get away weekend filled with outdoor activities, relaxing and hearty family hospitality.
Accommodation is offered 6 individual Lesaka Rooms and a separate Cottage. The beds are made up with top quality linen as well as nice soft towels in the bathrooms.
The Lesaka Rooms each have their own entrances, a queen-size bed or 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The Cottage is separate from the main house and has 4 queen bedrooms, 1 single bunk bed room, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet, a TV, lounge and dining room, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, toaster, small fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities.. Braai facilities are available, please arrange in advance.
Guests can make use of an old traditional 'plaas' farm dam for swimming. Dry cleaning services can be arranged. Secure parking is provided. Wi-Fi is available at the office.
Nice farm breakfasts and dinners are served in the 'Melkstal'. Please arrange in advance if you want breakfast or dinner. The Omdraai Guest Farm and Venue has a liquor license and soft drinks, beer and wine are available for sale at the 'Melkstal'.
