Description

Prince Albert Game Park is situated 4 km east of the Karoo town of Prince Albert with the Swartberg Mountains as the backdrop. Tranquillity and peace are at the order of the day. Guests can explore the surroundings, game and birdlife on the 3500 ha Estate

Accommodation comprises a Guesthouse that can accommodate 10 guests. The homestead dates back to 1889 and still have the original Bolinder Wood Stove in working order, thick walls and the old-fashioned attic. A fully equipped kitchen, modern stove, fridge, toaster and braai facilities inside and outside are available.

Camping Includes ablution facilities, hot and cold shower, electricity point, lighting and braai facilities. Guests have the option of camping with their own gear, but camping gear can be provided on request.

The farm has a wide variety of antelope including, Gemsbok, Kudu, Zebra, Impala, Red Hartebeest, Black Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Blesbuck, Springbok, Ostrich, Bontebok, Eland, Vervet monkey, Cape Porcupine, Mongoose, Baboon, Scaly Anteater, Lynx, Aardwolf, Bat-eared Fox, Black-backed jackal, Otter, Small-spotted Genet, Aardvark, Grey Duiker, Steenbok, Klipspringer Bushpig and Reindeer. Other smaller mammals such as the critically endangered Riverine Rabbit with probably no more than 200 individual left in the world and the rare insect Antlions.
