Ridge House is a luxury guest house overlooking Hermanus. The Ridge House is conveniently located 1.6 km from the centre of town, yet close to nature. The Hermanus cliff path is within easy reach, boasting some of the best land-based whale watching in season.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 4 tastefully furnished suites, all with private decks and beautiful views. The suites are generous in size, and have individual open-plan lounges, bedrooms and sumptuous en-suite bathrooms, with walk-in showers or freestanding baths. All suites come with king-sized beds made up with quality 100-percent percale linen, large cotton towels, in-room tea- and coffee-making facilities, free high-speed uncapped Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, and a digital wall safe.

The 2 flagship rooms, The Aloe Suite and The Rockpool Suite both feature a Kolkol wood-fired hot tub on their private decks with stunning views. Both of these suites also have private braai facilities and self-catering kitchenettes. The private Kolkol wood-fired hot tubs and decks offer spectacular views across the fynbos to Walker Bay.

At the heart of the guest house is a central lounge, dining and bar area, featuring a deck with 180-degree panoramic views, from which you can see both the sunrise and sunset. Enjoy a drink from the bar, relax in front of the fire, and enjoy the hospitality of your hosts, Linda and Martyn.

Breakfast is served in the dining area, or in the room by arrangement. The focus is on quality local ingredients, and special dietary requirements can be accommodated.

The spacious, yet sheltered garden with campfire boma offers guests a relaxing evening experience under the stars. The garden is a haven for birds and small wildlife, and you can look forward to seeing guinea-fowl, owls, sunbirds and many other endemic species during your stay. A resident mongoose might even make an appearance. The guest house offers secure parking, storage for bicycles, and braai facilities in the garden.
