Rietfontein Lodge & Safaris is a charming off-the-grid lodge situated along the valley of the spectacular Bamboes Mountain Range in Hofmeyr, offering spacious and comfortable self-catering accommodation. The landscape boasts abundant birdlife, scenery, and wildlife for those looking to get away for a weekend of relaxation, mountain biking, or even hikes through the veld.
The lodge comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms downstairs that can accommodate 6 adults and an open-plan upstairs area that can accommodate an additional 14 guests. The bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds, while the upstairs area is furnished with 14 single beds. The lodge has 5 bathrooms with shower facilities.
The open-plan kitchen, which opens onto the braai and dining area, is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, toaster, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining and braai area features a dining table with seating for 10 guests, a breakfast nook with seating for an additional 4 guests, and a built-in braai.
