Description
In remembrance of a traditional African safari camp, this lodge offers a luxurious safari accommodation experience. It is built from natural stone with thatch roofs, with the luxury game lodge having an olde worlde-Africa atmosphere while being completely contemporary.
It is situated on the grounds of a 16400 ha of bushveld savannah, river, valley, and magic mountain landscapes, on the Kaingo Game Reserve which is a wilderness of outstanding scenic beauty, and African Eden. The reserve is a declared protected area with Critical Biodiversity 1 classification and a core area of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, officially declared by UNESCO. It represents a piece of Africa as it used to be with unique wildlife experiences, conservation, research activities, and picturesque natural assets in abundance.
Accommodation is offered in tastefully furnished en-suite rooms. The rooms are set in a large natural garden that blends into the surrounding bush veld savanna landscape. The units are all well equipped for comfort with surrounding nature-inspired décor accent colours.
This property has large communal areas which include a sparkling swimming pool, bar, lounge area, a library, a meeting room, and a relaxation deck with a large garden and botanical routes. With the mighty Mokolo River weaving through breathtaking scenery, the reserve is home to more than 60 mammals and more than 300 bird species.
