It was so uncomfortable and creepy for the amount I paid.

The paint on the walls is old and coming off with wet doors that look like they will come out anytime. The sheets aren't so white, looks like they wash them with dirty water. The water was cold. No warm water to shower. The place itself is not clean from the reception area. I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I was given a double bedroom after I booked a single room. Their towels are so old and not nice. Nothing was cute in that place, I just couldn't wait for the next day to leave. Honestly, R350 is a lot of money for this kind of place. I recommend they should at least get paint, paint their walls, because they are so creepy, get new doors and make their reception welcoming.

Home away from home.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone is friendly from the owner to his employees. Safe area and if I were to go back that side again, I'll most definitely stay there.

Dirty and unsafe.

Place is dirty and smelly. Toilets were dirty. For women and children not a suitable and safe place to stay. We are disappointed that such places have been advertised.

This was a disaster, and we would never have stayed there if we had known how dodgy it was!

This "guesthouse" is located right in the middle of Klerksdorp's dodgiest area in the inner city. (The directions on Google Maps led us to the wrong area and we had to phone the owner for directions.) There was no client service, only an elderly person there to open up for us upon arrival. Although the room was clean, there was no mirror in the tiny bathroom and my husband had to run between the sink (in the bedroom) and the large mirror next to the bed in order to shave. We feared for the safety of our belongings left in the room while we went to a wedding, as well as for ourselves and our vehicle overnight. Very early the next morning, some young men were banging on the doors to find their friends who were apparently staying there and stood in the "passage" shouting at each other. Although we got a very "good" price for our room, we would never have stayed there if we had seen even 1 photo of the area and front of the building. We will certainly never return, and strongly advise other travellers not to go there either as the area does not feel safe.

The street name has been changed. On certain GPS it shows the new street name, and on other GPS it shows the old street name. However, our contact details are available which the client did not make use of. I did contact the client myself to find out where the client is and what time the client will be arriving. I advised the client to try the old street name on her GPS, she agreed and said she would come later. Another client attending the same wedding, who also booked through LekkeSlaap, called me for directions and he had no problem in finding our place. Unfortunately Carli Smit never called me for any directions, I was the one who called her.
