Description

Sea Valley Lodge is an expansive self-catering house boasting stunning 180-degree views of the sea and lagoon in Voëlklip in Hermanus. Guests have convenient access to Voëlklip's renowned Grotto beach, just a short stroll or drive down the valley. The house features ample indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, perfect for gatherings with family and friends.

The house has a sleeping capacity of 10 guests and comprises 5 tastefully furnished bedrooms. On the first floor, the spacious main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, overlooking the beautiful ocean. It has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. There is also a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and an adjoining bathroom fitted with a shower. Downstairs, are the third and fourth bedrooms, furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, and a queen-size bed, respectively. They share a bathroom with a shower. The fifth bedroom is a separate cottage with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and towels are provided.

The house has a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living room on the upper floor. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, air fryer, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. In addition, there is also a dishwasher and washing machine for guests’ convenience. The kitchen expands to a dining area and further opens to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a smart TV with Netflix. There is also a wood-fired fireplace for those cold winter nights. The downstairs area also has a kitchenette, a small lounge area, and an outdoor patio, which is an added benefit for families or teens wanting to be together, yet have their private space too.

Guests step out to a large, semi-covered balcony with an 8-seater alfresco dining table that provides stunning sunset dinner moments to end off the perfect day. Guests can also enjoy another 8-seater dining area opening onto the swimming pool.

In addition, the house features an inverter that supplies power to the TVs, DStv, free Wi-Fi, and lights during load shedding. A portable gas braai can be found on the balcony, and a built-in wood-fired braai at the swimming pool.

The house offers secure parking for 5 cars and additional free off-street parking and is secured with all-around walls and an alarm system. The location offers access to beaches, several restaurants, art galleries, and coffee shops. It is also not far from the lagoon and scenic walking and mountain biking trails on the mountain.
