Description
Shamwari Houseboat is an exclusive luxury houseboat moored on the banks of the Zambezi River in Namibia. The houseboat is based on the Upper Zambezi River near Mwandi.
This floating lodge can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms. Each room is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The rooms boast lovely views of the surrounding river.
Meals are served in the dining area which makes up the main area of the houseboat and leads to a lounge where guests can relax. Leading from the dining area is a braai deck and a Jacuzzi, ideal for unwinding and enjoying the picturesque river setting. Guests are afforded access to Wi-Fi on the houseboat.
The area is well-known for fantastic tiger fishing opportunities, as well as Nembwe and other predatory bream species.
Since the houseboat is situated on the river, transfers by boat are available from the Muchenje River Lodge to the Shamwari Houseboat or from the Kasane water border to the Shamwari Houseboat.
