Description
Taaibos Bush Lodge is located in the beautiful and relaxed town of Hoedspruit, close to the famous Kruger National Park and one of the most amazing canyons in the world, the Blyde River Canyon. The lodge, located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, is brand new. We offer our guests a home (far) away from home, in the middle of the bush but yet close to everything that Hoedspruit and surroundings has to offer. Next to a range of other activities, we can arrange Big 5 gamedrives into Greater Kruger reserves or other private game reserves in Hoedspruit. Animals you will find surrounding your own private chalet are for instance Giraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Warthog and Duiker. Occasional (mostly nightly) visitors to our reserve are Hyena, Caracal, Leopard and Wild Dog.
Guests can choose between 4 luxurious self-catering chalets that have been built in a circle, offering privacy. Each chalet accommodates 2 guests and is tastefully furnished with a king-size bed or twin xl beds. It has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, indoor and outdoor shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The chalets have a kitchenette area equipped with a bar fridge, gas stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a Smart TV. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests.
All chalets come with private decks and are placed around the central boma and pool area where guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool. A delicious breakfast, which consists of a variety of fresh and local products, is included and is served daily in the lapa. There’s a deck next to the pool, as well as a lovely firepit in the boma where guests can share their stories when the sun sets.
This property offers a bush camp-feeling in a comfortable and luxurious way and is focused on guests who love nature, but also want the freedom to go out for a bicycle ride or a bushwalk directly from the doorstep of their own house.
