Description

The Boatyard is a charming and tastefully decorated self-catering apartment located in Glenwood and is an ideal choice for guests wanting to sail or surf as this can be privately arranged with the hosts.

This apartment can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, double vanity and toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom contains 2 3/4 beds which can be converted into a king-size bed on request. Linen is provided; however, guests are required to bring their own towels.

The bright open-plan living area is filled with natural light and features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher. Additionally, there is a dining table and a lounge space with a child-only single sleeper couch. A complimentary breakfast basket is provided on arrival. Access to limited Wi-Fi is available. A TV with HDMI. A washing machine is also available but guests are required to bring their own washing powder.

Outside the apartment, there is a patio with outdoor seating and guests have access to a Weber to enjoy either on the balcony or on the patio in the front garden. Guests are afforded secure parking in a single garage which is not suited to a large vehicle as well as open-air parking in the back garden.

The apartment is on the upper floor of an old, typical Glenwood house, so there are stairs to climb. The lower level is slowly being renovated but this section is screened off. The old pool was once a froggy heaven but is now drained and empty and should be approached with care.
