Description

The Island is a self-catering holiday home situated on The Island in Sedgefield, capable of accommodating a large family or group of 8 guests. There is an inverter and battery installed to beat load shedding.

The house features 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with 3 of them being en-suite. All bedrooms have built-in cupboards and desks. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second and third bedrooms each have a double bed and their own en-suite bathrooms with showers. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds, and the separate bathroom is also fitted with a shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, air fryer, Nutribullet, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, cutlery, crockery, and a spacious farm-style dining table. The lounge features comfortable seating, and one of the lounges includes a TV. Fibre Wi-Fi access is provided. There is a lovely garden with a stunning covered braai area and an exquisite pool with a deck and sun loungers for lazy, carefree days. The pool is fenced-in with a lockable gate. There is an outside shower tucked away in the garden.

In the area, guests can enjoy leisurely strolls to Swartvlei Lagoon and the Saturday Wild Oats market. Additionally, there are short drives to beautiful destinations such as Knysna, Pine Lake Marina, Wilderness Beach, and Myoli Beach. The Island is home to abundant birdlife, including occasional visits from fish eagles. The Island provides a quieter alternative to the bustling town, especially during the busy high season. For shopping needs, there's a Pick n Pay and Super Spar in town, and Sedgefield is easily navigable by bicycle or on foot.
