Description

The Open Door is a charming holiday home that offers comfortable accommodation in Kenton-on-Sea, a small coastal town on the Sunshine Coast. The house offers stunning views of the Bushman’s River and is the perfect retreat for a large family or group of friends.

This spacious split-level home can accommodate up to 12 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is located upstairs and offers lovely views, ample cupboard space, and access to the balcony. It contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second bedroom is also upstairs and features a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. A workspace and a guest toilet are available on this level.

Downstairs, are 2 bedrooms that are furnished with 2 single beds and a double bed, respectively. The fifth bedroom is an open-plan area that also serves as an entertainment room and contains 2 single beds as well as a bunk bed, a pool table, table tennis equipment, and kids' toys and games. These rooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and a breakfast bar with bar stools. Additional facilities include free Wi-Fi, a TV, and a well-equipped laundry room with a second fridge. A courtyard and a washing line can be found along the side of the house.

The property has 4 rain water tanks that can be connected to the house when there is no water and there is an inverter for the WiFi which will last for standard electricity loadshedding periods.

Guests can enjoy a number of water-based activities in the area, including snorkelling, swimming at Blue flag beaches, and canoeing. Local restaurants and deli's offer quality food options, and the town have plenty of quaint craft shops
