Description
The Orchid Guesthouse is located in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains in a town called Vaalwater. It is en route to Lephalale (Ellisras) and Botswana (Stockpoort Borders). It's 2 hours' drive from Pretoria and an hour from Lephalale.
The thatched guest house offers 4 beautiful units. All rooms have white linen. The rooms have private entrances leading onto a patio overlooking the garden. Tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridges, TVs with selected channels and air-conditioning are also provided in each room.
Unfortunately there are no TVs or air conditioning in the rooms, but there is a TV with DStv in the dining room and lapa. Breakfast and dinner can be provided on request. We do not serve alcohol, but guests are welcome to bring their own drinks.
The large garden has a variety of trees and bird species. Renovation work on the putt-putt track is currently underway, but it will be available again soon.
