The Wild Edge - Last Light Cabin provides an idyllic forest retreat near Knysna, featuring self-catering cottages that operate independently of the traditional power grid. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the farm, guests can immerse themselves in a tranquil atmosphere, offering an ideal opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings.
Last Light Cabin is a 2-bedroom unit that can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed. These 2 bedrooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit has a lovely open-plan kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, microwave, basic crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a breakfast island with stools. It further leads out to a dining table with chairs and opens up to the living area furnished with comfortable couches and a cosy fireplace for those cold nights.
Throughout the doors of the living room, guests walk out onto the lovely patio that features outdoor furniture, braai facilities, and a boma braai, overlooking the greenery.
On the premises, guests can also enjoy access to a communal swimming pool and various walking trails, adding to the tranquillity of the surroundings. Situated 10 km outside of Knysna, the beautiful drive through the forest serves as the first step in disconnecting from the busy world, setting the tone for a truly rejuvenating getaway.
