Description
Torgos Lodge is located in the South of Namibia adjoining the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The lodge is alongside the C15 route, 7km from the Mata Mata border post. The name ‘Torgos’ is derived from the Latin name for a lappet-faced vulture, ‘Torgos tracheliotus’.
Accommodation comprises 10 units sleeping 2 people each on twin beds. There are 6 Luxury Stone Chalets and 4 Luxury Tented Chalets. 4 units have basic self-catering facilities. The accommodation is scattered among the Camelthorn trees alongside the Auob riverbed. Each unit has 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin, toilet and guest amenities. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available. Each unit also has its own little verandah to overlook the dry Auob riverbed.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining area, Lunches or lunch packs can be provided on request.
