Description

Vermaak-Likheid Garden Cottage is just a stone's throw away from the Goukou River which is a free-flowing river, opening into the warm Indian Ocean. The river mouth, which is always open, provides a playground for many a kitesurfer, and on windy days up to 40 kites can be counted.

It is also a safe swimming area and adjacent to three Blue Flag Status beaches, which in turn are under the supervision of competent lifeguards during peak seasons.

The riverbank provides clean sandy beaches that make you want to take long, romantic walks up the river and see you build sky and sandcastles.

The cottage sleeps 4 guests and has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and living area. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed and the bathroom has a shower, basin and separate toilet. A three-quarter bed and a single bed are in the open-plan living area.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering with a sink, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, deep freeze, kettle, toaster and two-plate gas stove. There are comfortable couches, chairs and a TV with local channels in the living area.

Safe parking behind a gate is available. Well-mannered pets are welcome if arranged beforehand.

Please take note that there is no WiFi in the unit, only SABC channels. DStv is only available during peak season for stays of 12 days or longer.
