Vredevallei is a cottage located on a small working farm in Tesselaarsdal in the Western Cape. This accommodation aims to offer guests a self-sustainable lifestyle experience.
This cottage sleeps 2 adults and 2 children and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living area. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The kitchen counter doubles as a dining table with chairs and this area further extends into the living area which has a double sleeper couch that accommodates 2 children. The sliding doors open onto the wooden deck with outdoor furniture where guests can enjoy views of the neighbour’s pond.
A generator is used to keep the water pump on during shower times. There’s enough space for children to safely run around, play, or ride a bike. Guests can cool off in the farm mud pond on the ground and board games are available for guests’ entertainment.
