Welgerust is a bed and breakfast with lush garden views, located in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, also known as Mkhondo. Mkhondo is an ideal stopover for guests travelling to and from Kwa-Zulu Natal and Swaziland. Heyshope Dam, found on the Assegaai River, one of the biggest dams in the province, is only 30 km away from Mkhondo, and is popular for swimming, fishing and picnics.
