Description

Woodside Game Lodge is a privately owned game farm, situated 8.5 km from Mareetsane in the North West Province. The farm covers 1300 hectares of landscape and is stocked with several species of game. The lodge offers accommodation in a bushveld setting, ideal for a well-deserved getaway.

Accommodation is offered in 4 wooden chalets with thatched roofs, each with its own bathroom. Accommodation is also offered in 4 Luxury Tent Chalets on wooden decks, to experience a true bushveld atmosphere.

The main lodge area, with a lounge furnished with a TV with selected DStv channels, a bar and a dining area, is decorated with rugged furnishings with luxury in mind. The main lodge area opens onto a wooden deck fitted with a communal swimming pool for those hot summer days.

The lodge offers informal game drives in 4X4 vehicles, where guests can enjoy the sunset or sunrise, with an optional sundowner or morning coffee stop, under a big old Camelthorn tree. There are various lookout points and waterholes on the farm, allowing for excellent game viewing. Animals to be seen on the farm include kudu, wildebeest, zebra, nyala, blesbok, impala, duiker, and guinea fowl to name a few.

Woodside Game Lodge offers numerous facilities for both individuals and corporate functions, making it the ideal venue for parties, year-end functions, conferences, team-building, workshops and weddings.

Woodside also has a backup power system to reduce the impact of load shedding.
