Graaff Reinet Airport, known as “the Gateway to the Karooâ€, is a small airport situated approximately 10km from the town of Graaff Reinet, aptly named “the Jewel of the Karooâ€, in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The airport is mainly used for aviation training as well as a base for the Eagle’s Wings Microlight School. Although there are no scheduled flights available, private charter jets offer flights to and from the airport.
