Stable Theatre

Description

The Stable Theatre Complex is situated in Durban, and is supported by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Arts and Culture. The theatre was the first independent black theatre company in South Africa, founded by the late Kessie Govender - a famous Durban playwright, director, and actor. Not only does this venue offer exceptional performance space, but also space for rehearsals, workshops, exhibitions, and seminars.
