Relaxing, close to the water.

Had everything we needed, great location! They could really use fans in the rooms in summer for the heat though.

Great location.

Nice house, beautiful setting. I am being charged for 2 missing towels, which I didn't think to make sure were there in the first place. It was a tedious exercise to count utensils, linen, and check for damage first thing after arriving, and also when leaving. You need to pay a breakage deposit of R1500, which only gets reimbursed after 10 days if there are no breakages or missing items. The toilet drains were partially blocked, and there was a sewer smell in the ensuite bedroom. There are no secure gates protecting the property from intruders. It is not advisable to leave items on the back deck or leave windows open when leaving the house or sleeping.

Lovely setting, the house is a perfect venue for a family or group of friends. It is close to the national park too.

The one issue I had was one of the security gates was stuck and we could not open the door. I did ask for help but did not get much so we left the door closed. The other issue was that the sliding door did not have an ideal system for locking - there was something in the lock and it needed removal which proved tricky. They could have put a small lock on the door instead.
