We chose A State Of Grace in Clanwilliam as a central spot to view the flowers. Jan and Chantal gave us a warm welcome. The accommodation is inviting and tasteful with everything you could possibly need. Sitting on their verandah in the evening watching the sunset over the Clanwilliam Dam was an unexpected highlight. Each morning we started our day with a wonderful breakfast and in the evening we prepared a simple dinner for ourselves in their well-equipped kitchen. Returning after a day's driving to all the luxuries plus an electric blanket was wonderful. A fire was lit for us in the lounge when it was cold and that was a treat. We definitely recommend this guesthouse and Jan and Chantal are great hosts.
