Relaxing, excellent breakfast and dinner on request.

Really enjoyed this off-the-grid experience. Janette is a fabulous cook. We had the best breakfast and dinner on her stoep, while drinking in the Karoo landscape. If you need deep rest, this is the place for you.

I'm sorry your stay was not all you expected, looking at your comments i think perhaps you simply chose the wrong unit. If you had spoken to me about your problems - my phone is on 24/7 - i could have moved you to our self catering cottage. For the same price as your cabin (but not including breakfast - which you did not need anyway) you would have had an indoor bathroom with walk-in shower, full kitchen, dining area, lounge with DSTV, access to wifi, full mains electricity, fridge, gas stove, fire place, pizza oven, and best of all, undercover parking right next to the cottage for your bike! We do not normally allow vehicle access to the cabins, hence the poor quality of access route, i simply didn't want you to get soaking wet on such a rainy day. Hope the rest of your stay in Ladismith was more enjoyable.

If your looking for accommodation with a difference this is the place. Remember, off the grid in this case means "off the grid. " Bear in mind that there are no cooking facilities or fridge, bring your own ice if you want a cool sundowner. The view from the verandah is unbelievable and indescribable.
