Aloe Cottage

Enjoyable.

Always enjoy Aloe. My 5th time being there, just love the quietness and change of scenery.

Great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Aloe Cottage. There was a lot of attention to detail that made our stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed the books, board games and bicycles.

The cottage should have proper details typed of how to operate the TV etc., as there were 5 different remotes with no proper instructions, also the geyser which we switched on when we arrived with no further instructions with regards to the heating instructions panel which is separate to heat the geyser, we had to call the company on that heating device to assist. The main bedroom shower is blocked which I brought to Paul's attention. The kitchen cupboard below the sink needs a good cleaning and I also took a picture to show Paul a dead cockroach which was not removed. He should also add to the list where to find the mop and bucket just a few going-the-extra-mile kind of thing for guests instead of calling him each time and he should also add that and the "first aid" kit we later found inside the main bedroom cupboard which we required during the time of our stay there - that is something good to have at hand especially for the overseas visitors. Because we had animals (pet-friendly), we needed to mop often and also because of rainy weather, the floors were actually quite dirty after mopping, sandy. A lovely cottage that requires a little more cleaning, checking on cleaning staff. Thank you for the wood supplied, however, the wood was placed in a corner where it got wet, why not in a corner whereby rain cannot reach? A little more TLC. We loved the privacy of the unit, very peaceful and well-equipped. The one frying pan should be replaced. I will be back.

Minimal hassle and very welcoming.

Tranquil and welcoming. The amenities were fantastic, the views soul-affirming and the cottage very clean.

Pragtige, veilige plek met 'n baie mooi sonsopkoms op stoep.

Lekker om saam met vriende te gaan bly en elkeen het sy eie badkamer geriewe. Die skottelgoedwasser is ook 'n plus.

Wonderful stay in Darling in a cute cottage equipped with everything we needed to make our time memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aloe Cottage in Darling. It was part of our road trip and a luxury after the hustle and bustle of busy Cape Town. A lovely stoep overlooking the veld made it feel much more like a farm retreat. There was a complimentary bottle of Darling Wine and a box of Evita's Toffees waiting on the table. Recommend for sure.

Goeie wegbreek.

Darling is ʼn goeie ligging vir al die aktiwiteite in en rondom Darling. Die netheid kan definitief opgeknap word, slegs paar punte wat so was. Die huisie het alles in wat mens nodig het en maak dit baie gerieflik om daar te bly. Elke kamer wat sy eie badkamer het is ook baie gerieflik. Die stoep is ongelooflik.

Amazing, Surprising, Pleasently unexpeted and Welcoming.

We have travelled quite a lot - however, I must say the amenities in the cottage was just amazing. We basically just had to bring ourselves and food, everything else was provided - even doggie biscuits! The thoughtfulness of this people managing this establishment is wonderful. A definite return with my partner/wife is on the cards. Thanks a million for an amazing stay - what a gem of a place!

Lovely weekend away. Aloe Cottage was great, it had all we required. Lovely little relaxing town.

'n Gesellige, knus huisie.

Dis 'n gesellige huisie op die buiterand van Darling. Die huis is ten volle toegerus en het 'n heerlike kaggel wat in die koue die hele leefarea verwarm. Die skoonmaakdiens laat egter veel te wense en so ook die onderhou span.

Waarde vir geld.

Weereens baie lekker gekuier by Aloe Cottage. Huis het alles wat jy benodig.

Exceptionally well stocked, and a beautiful little place, loved every moment and will go back in a heartbeat.

Everything that you can think of in a house was catered for in this cottage.

Loved the fact that they had board games, mini library and enough towels. Unexpected bonus was the bicycles that was in the cottage. Nice touch. Will definitely come again.

Fantastic darling!

Fantastiese akkommodasie. Alles en nog meer beskikbaar in Aloe Cottage.

Gerieflik en ruim.

Goed toegerus met alles en nog wat. Ruim en-suite slaapkamers met 'n lieflike stoep wat uitkyk oor die panoramiese Swartland. Ons hondjies het dit ook baie geniet. Die bure se corgi het vriendelik kom groet. Snags kan mens die sterrekoepel waardeer.

Uitstekend toegerus, met alles wat nodig is om 'n die verblyf gerieflik en warm te maak.

Die ligging is perfek en die stille atmosfeer gerusstellend.
