Amatava Lodge offers self-catering accommodation in a Colonial-styled lodge, on a working game breeding farm, nestled in the valley of the Strydpoort mountain range in Limpopo Province, just 5 km outside of Mokopane. Uniquely positioned with sweeping views of the African bushveld, Amatava will welcome and embrace guests in this malaria-free environment.

Self-catering accommodation is offered in five 4-Sleeper Chalets, and one 6-Sleeper Family Chalet. Each chalet has its own en-suite bathroom, a lounge area, a TV with a selection of DStv channels, and a kitchen that is equipped with a fridge, stove and kettle.

There is a thatched central entertainment area with a built-in bar and a dining area, as well as an open-air lapa with dining area, and deck with a plunge pool. While sipping on a cocktail on the large outside deck, guests can enjoy viewing an abundance of wildlife coming to soothe their thirst at the dam on the foot of the mountain. Nyala, black impala, road, sable, giraffe, golden wildebeest, springbok, bushbuck, buffalo and over 300 bird species can all be spotted.
