Ambercrest B&B is ideally located in Scotthburgh. This classic Scottburgh home is uniquely decorated and offers comfortable accommodation in a home-like atmosphere with personal attention to detail and old fashioned hospitality.

The old main house was renovated and decorated using a mix of antique and modern furniture and comprises 5 guest rooms and 1 self-catering unit. Three of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the other two rooms have access to a bathroom across the passage. Each room has a bar fridge, tea- and coffee- making facilities and a TV. Guests have access to braai facilities, a swimming pool and a wooden deck overlooking the ocean.

The breakfasts really set this establishment apart. Guests have a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt, and hot breakfasts including omelettes and bobotie.

Ample parking is available behind automated gates.

The garden includes exotic and indigenous and endemic plants which attract many birds. Friendly cocker spaniels, cats, birds and fish are kept on the property too.

Scottburgh is well known for its beautiful beach and many restaurants, catering for everyone's appetite. Other attractions in the area is Aliwal Shoal, the world renowned diving site, Crocworld and TC Robertson's Reserve.
