Easy walk to Big Bay beach/Eden on the Bay shops. Big Bay, a popular beach for swimmers and surfers, also has rock pools and long white sands for the kids to enjoy. Lifeguards are on duty at Big Bay from Dec to end of Easter weekend 10h00 – 18h00. Beach towels, camp chairs, a beach shelter and a cooler box with freeze blocks also supplied.

There is an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. The lounge has 2 comfy couches, flat-screen HD TV, DVD/CD player and DStv cabling. Family package is included in the rate. If you require Premium package, please bring your own decoder and card.

The main bedroom has a king-size bed that can be separated into twin beds on request. Spacious shower en suite. Second bedroom has twin beds. There is a full family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

The kitchen has granite working tops, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, oven and well supplied with crockery and cutlery.

Residents swimming pool in the complex. The apartment is personally managed by the owner. Baby cot available for hire on request. A cleaning service can be arranged if required. A WiFi router is available on request.

The rate includes: Welcome basket with a carton of fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk, sugar and biscuits on arrival, bed linen, towel, beach towels, beach chairs and beach tent, safety deposit box in main bedroom cupboard and a hairdryer.

Blouberg Beach, also a lovely beach, great for jogging, roller blading, kite and wind surfing, but not swimming, is less than a 5 minute drive.

Blaauberg Nature Conservancy is a short drive – in Spring it has a glorious wild flower display. Don't miss the spring flowers in Darling, just 1 hours drive.

Waves Edge complex is a short walk from both the Big Bay and Little Bay beaches. Two good shopping centres are an easy walk, with Pick 'n Pay, TableBay Mall now open ? 5 minutes drive. Woolworths Food and Checkers. Both centres have ATM's, a variety of good restaurants which will take care of all your shopping needs. Bayside Centre with movies, is a bus ride away, on the blue and red buses of the MyCiti bus service. The City Bus Transport system operates from Big Bay to Tableview/Cape Town City/Cape Town airport/Canal Walk.

Waves Edge complex is also close to Blouberg Netcare Hospital.
