Did not experience the room as prepared for a new guest. Room not welcoming nor clean.

The room did not seem clean, bath towels were not bright white and looks old, bed was not prepared neatly. TV did not work. No milk for coffee in the room although there was coffee and sugar placed out. Was not welcoming at all. Breakfast was nice although you have to boil the kettle yourself to make coffee. There is a machine available for coffee but was not working.

The venue was beautifully situated and both the kids and us enjoyed our stay at Annette Guesthouse.

All the staff was so friendly and very professional. And our room was nice clean and tidy too. We most definitely enjoyed our stay there and grateful for amazing assistance always to accommodate my family and the kids too.

Ek wil beslis terugkom!

Na 6 maande in die Midde Ooste was hierdie die beste plek om te oornag vir my eerste aand tuis in SA. Dit was fantasties!

Nie heeltemal vierster-standaard nie, maar aangenaam met uitstekende ontbytkamer.

Kamer ("Greek") klein en beknop sonder 'n enkele stoel. Parkering word aangedui as "van die straat af" wat nie waar is nie. Diens vriendelik en ligging goed. Badkamer skoon, kombers en vloermatjie kan doen met goeie skoonmaak. Verf wat van badkamerkas afdop 'n aanduiding dat beter onderhoud nodig is. Gehalte van die bedlinne waarskynlik nie op vierster-standaard nie. Jammer dat rookarea reg voor die kamer is sodat vensters toegehou moes word. Sal die gastehuis wel aanbeveel as dit drie sterre gehad het.

Gerieflik en skoon in stil area.

Baie netjiese en skoon verblyf, kamer was lekker ruim. Hier en daar sal hulle die afwerkings moet opskerp. Ontbyt was baie lekker met genoeg keuses.

Voldoen nie aan verwagtinge.

Skoon beddegoed en goeie ontbyt. Kamers klein, nie wat jy van n 4-ster milieu verwag nie. Het al by beter gastehuise vir laer koste in dieselfde area tuisgegaan.

It was wonderful, peaceful and pleasant.

The cutlery was dusty, the hairdryer's plug didn't fit into the socket. There was no plug in the bathtub. Other than that, wonderful.

Ons cutlery was vol stof, die plug van haardroër kon nie in die plug reg pas nie. Daar was nie 'n prop in die badkamer se bad nie. Andersins wonderlik.

Thank you for your review and for staying at Annette Guesthouse.
I personally checked the plug for the hairdryer and it does fit, just needs to be pushed in hard.
There is no plug for the bath, due to the fact that we have water restrictions in Cape Town.
We have to ask our guests to please only use the shower.
The cutlery was a bit dusty and we do apologise for this.

Baie lekker area, stil en na aan die nodigste winkels.

Dis die derde keer wat ek nou daar bly. Die area is goed en 'n baie stil en veilige buurt.

Was slegs 'n oornag-bestemming.

Die slaapkamer sowel as badkamer was baie gerieflik en skoon. Meubels begin wel hul ouderdom en gebruik vertoon. Ontvangs was vriendelik en effektief. Die ontbyt was niks spesiaal nie, maar het wel aan die standaarde voldoen. Ek het slegs oornag en kan dus nie kommentaar lewer oor die res van die gastehuis se standaarde nie. Die enigste negatiewe aspek was dat daar nie veilige parkering is nie - parkering is wel op die perseel, maar nie agter sekuriteitshekke nie.

Ruim en lieflike kamers, baie skoon en netjies.

Dit was 'n aangename verassing. Die kothuis was lieflik, ruim en skoon. Heerlike ontbyt en ons het die gasvryheid waardeer.
