DURING LEVEL 3 OF COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS, ACCOMMODATION WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED FOR BUSINESS TRAVEL & A PERMIT FROM YOUR EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO BE SEEN ON ARRIVAL. THIS IS REQUIRED FOR EACH & EVERY GUEST. UNFORTUNATELY ACCOMMODATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IF VALID PERMIT IS NOT AVAILABLE.

DURING LEVEL 3 ONLY 1 PERSON PER TENT WILL BE ACCOMMODATED.

Apollo de Karoo Tented Camp is situated in the Onder Karoo close to the Tankwa National Park and Sutherland. It offers lovely accommodation, ideally suited for a family or group of friends looking for a breakaway in the Karoo.

The tented camp offers guests a choice of 6, permanent tents that can accommodate up to 2 guests in each. The tents are cool in summer and warm in winter, and each of the tents are furnished with 2 single beds. The tents make use of ablution facilities comprising bathrooms with 3 showers that get hot water from gas geysers and 3 flushing toilets. For convenience, bedding and towels are provided.

Guests make use of a communal kitchen that is equipped with a gas stove, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, cutlery and crockery, as well as a 12-seater dining table. A TV with DStv sports channels, Wi-Fi, as well as a pool table is available for guests' entertainment. Braai packs are available on request, and wood is available for purchase.

Guests are afforded lovely, covered braai facilities, as well as a firepit. Please be aware that the area is Cape Cobra and Puff Adder country and guests need to be aware of their surroundings at all times.

The area is ideal for joggers, hikers, and mountain bikers, or for guests who want to relax and enjoy the Karoo.
