House Rules
Children between 0 and 2 stay for free.
Children between 3 and 12 pay a fixed rate.
Required documents to confirm a booking:
1. A copy of ID / Passport;
2. Proof of residence (if SA citizen);
3. Signed and completed booking form and booking rules.
Please note that an online check-in and Covid-19 questionnaire will have to be completed before arrival.
Guests should please adhere to the check-in as well as check-out time set out.
Day visitors are not permitted and the number of people per unit is limited to the number of guests on the confirmed booking. Management reserve the right to perform an inspection at any time if they suspect these rules are not being adhered to.
Enough firewood for the first fire is provided, however, any extra firewood is for purchase at R20 per bag on the farm. Guests may also pre-order wood from the farm.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottages and includes but is not limited to e-cigarettes, hookah pipes, and incense sticks. A designated smoking area is available on the patio and all cigarette stubs should be discarded in the bin.
There is a strict noise policy in place and guests should please refrain from making loud noises or playing loud music during the day. A no-noise policy takes effect at 22:00.
This unit is not suitable for parties, events, or private functions of any kind.
The units are not suitable for pets.
Because of the gravel terrain, as well as the units that are accessed via an open staircase, may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
A breakage deposit will be applied in the event of any damages or loss of items that occur during guests' stay.
The stove and chimney are extremely hot while in use and guests should please refrain from touching them. The use of the swimming pool and hot tub are at guests' own risk.
When making use of the braai facilities or fireplaces, guests should please ensure that the embers are properly extinguished and be careful not to leave any fires unattended.
Guests should please bring along their own swimming towels.
