Please note that the main dam is currently empty due to poor rainfall. Although the smaller dams are low, fishing remains excellent due to their overstocked status resulting from the relocation of fish from the main dam.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the establishment about the condition of the gravel road before booking.

Description
Ideal for larger families, the Giant Heron Chalet features a spacious self-catering kitchen equipped with a large fridge, a stove and a substantial bar area with bar stools, perfect for entertaining. The open-plan unit can accommodate up to 3 double beds with bedding and shares bathrooms with the Fisherman’s Cabin, located nearby. Each bathroom is divided into separate sections for ladies and gents, each equipped with showers, toilets, and hand basins. The chalet includes a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace, and its large furnished patio boasts 2 tables and 6 chairs. Outside, guests have access to a large braai area and a spot for a campfire. Situated approximately 20 metres from the water’s edge, the Giant Heron Chalet offers picturesque views of the water feature and the main dam in front of it.
