Beautiful but misadvertised.

The setting is beautiful and the room is comfortable. However, I found it weird that the owners clean the room without asking our permission first. We had a lot of valuables with us, as we were on honeymoon, so we were uncomfortable when we discovered our room was entered without our knowledge. Furthermore, the braai area was not as advertised in the photos for the accommodation. The owner gave a cheeky response when we sought clarity regarding whether or not we were assigned the correct cottage. However, the cottage was beautiful regardless.

Thank you for the review. We have four different cottages each with their own private braai facility. You were assigned the cottage you booked. We offer a daily cleaning service, (as stated in our visitor's book), however, if you requested the unit not to be cleaned, it could have been arranged. Our trusted staff members have been with us for nine years and we have never had an issue. We value our guest's privacy and comfort and pride ourselves on offering clean, comfortable accommodation. Hence, we allow guests to sleep in and the staff only go in to clean once the guests have left for the day, unless arranged differently.

Fantastic place to stay, owners are very warm and accommodating. Incredible view that never gets old.

Charming cabin with ample space and great view. Location is central and close to tourist attractions and owners are wonderful.
