Nestled in the mountains of the Ouberg Private Nature Reserve, Bloukrans Off-Grid Cabin is the ideal getaway for guests seeking a peaceful and tranquil escape.
This cabin comprises a bedroom, a sleeping area and a bathroom, accommodating 4 people. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and an en-suite fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The sleeping area, which is in the living area, consists of a double sleeper couch and 1 single mattress for extra sleeping space.
The living area features a kitchenette and lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. The lounge is furnished with a comfortable couch. It is the perfect romantic or family off-grid rustic getaway. There's no cell reception or Wi-Fi. Power is provided by the sun to charge devices and the fridge. The unit has an inverter system to charge cellphones and smaller gadgets.
Outside, mountain water is pumped from a deep borehole, and water is heated by gas. You can cook on a fire or a small gas cooker, including an outdoor braai area. A huge veranda with tranquil views awaits guests, a perfect spot for sundowners. In the summer, an old farm dam nearby offers a rejuvenating respite from the heat.
