Pleasant.

We were pleasantly welcomed on arrival. This was especially appreciated since our expected time of arrival was delayed by about 4 hours.

Definitely not a 4-star SA Tourism rated establishment.

The staff were incredible, really. Very friendly, accommodating, polite, and very helpful. The venue and room, however, I feel as if this is not actually SA Tourism Council rated. Old, mismatched fixtures and layouts, mould and peeling paint in the bathroom, toilet that has an extremely high-pitched whine when not even being used, lighting that is as harsh as a torture chamber treatment, rubbish in a drawer which was found when looking for a 2-prong plug, no plug outlets at the bed within clear and easy access, poor locks on the doors. No soap at the basin, toilet rolls in a public toilet cage-style holder, no load shedding backup, no WiFi signal until I asked for it and even then you had to stay in bed to use it, very limited menu and no vegan or vegetarian options (and expensive for very simple food). Breakfast only served from 08:00. Positives: good, safe parking behind a remote control gate, two bag carriers for unpacking, excellent linen and towels, functioning fridge, comfortable new mattress. Very, very good staff.
