Gooderson Bushlands Game Lodge offers an unforgettable African bush experience. This beautiful lodge is the ideal base from which to seek out the Big 5. It is designed to blend seamlessly into the Zululand environment and surrounded by 300 acres of bush and game area.

You will stay in luxurious elegantly furnished air-conditioned wooden chalets which are built on stilts and then connected by raised wooden walkways which lead to the main dining room, bar, swimming pool, and boma. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, fans, telephones, air conditioners, tea and coffee making facilities.

The boma provides the perfect meeting place for guests to enjoy drinks around the fire before dinner or to simply unwind at the end of a wonderful day. The resident chef specializes in mouth-watering venison and game dishes. Meals can be enjoyed in the main dining room or, weather permitting, under the African stars in the boma or on the swimming pool deck.

Here, guests can meet up with zebra, warthog, giraffe, nyala, and impala, and also enjoy the abundant bird life. Alternatively, one can explore the fantastic Nyala guided walking trail or reserve parks such as Umfolozi, Hluhluwe, Mkuze, Ndumo, Sodwana Bay and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
