Pragtige uitsig. Mooi kamer.

Ons was baie teleurgestel in die hele besigheid. Ons het dit as selfsorg gesien maar blykbaar was daar 'n kombuis wat ons moes deel maar ons het nie daarvan geweet nie. Ek kan nie dink mens betaal die bedrag vir net 'n baie mooi hotelkamer met 'n mooi uitsig nie. Die naaste eetplek is 17 km ver. Daar is net 'n klein bar fridge en ketel en 2 koppies. Verder niks. Regtig moeilik om daar te oornag. Tydens kragonderbreking was daar geen lig nie. Daar was 'n kers sonder vuurhoutjies. As ek dit kan vergelyk met die vorige nag se verblyf in Ohrigstad wat 'n woderlike belewenis was vir minder geld en ontbyt ingesluit met net so 'n mooi uitsig was die plek swak. Jammer.

We were very disappointed in the whole business. We saw it as self catering but apparently there was a kitchen that we had to share but we didn't know about it. I can't imagine paying that much for just a very nice hotel room with a nice view. The nearest eating place is 17 km away. There is only a small bar fridge and kettle and 2 cups. Nothing else. Really hard to spend the night there. During power outage there was no light. There was a candle without matches. If I can compare it with the previous night's stay in Ohrigstad, which was a terrible experience for less money and breakfast included with just such a nice view, the place was poor. Sorry.

Heerlik stil met 'n pragtige uitsig

Ons het baie lekker gerus en die stoep met 'n direkte uitsig op die rivier was die kersie op die koek. Die eenheid was netjies. Ek dink deur net aandag aan 'n paar klein dingetjies te gee, sal dit nog beter kan word. Ons kamer was nie elke dag skoongemaak nie (alhoewel dit so onder die oorsig geadverteer was). Een rolletjie toiletpapier vir 2 mense vir 2 nagte is bietjie skraps. Die klankie van die septiese tenk was nogal sterk wanneer die bad se prop uitgetrek was (nie seker of iets daaraan gedoen kan word nie). I think the bar fridge can at least hold 2 water bottles, a soft drink and maybe a sweet treat. We wouldn't mind paying for it at all. The lodge is quite far from the nearest town and that would have made it just a little more convenient. A nice cushion for the chairs on the stoep would have kept us on the stoep even longer. It's only small things and was certainly not a 'deal-breaker'. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

Teleurgesteld.

Vertroud met lodge, jare terug daar vakansie gehou en dit was uitstekend. Ongelukkig uiters teleurgesteld. Vir seker nie 4-ster. Dankbaar dit was net vir een nag. Die fasiliteite is nog goed, maar baie herstel werk nodig. Kamers was nie op standaard skoon nie. Ek glo die nuwe eienaars sal vir seker nog opknappings maak en het planne om dit te verbeter. Maar tans vir seker nie die geld werd nie.

Familiar with lodge, holidayed there years back and it was excellent. Unfortunately extremely disappointed. Definitely not 4 star. Thankful it was only for one night.
