Amazing experience.

Had the most wonderful experience, the room was just as pictured, super clean and fitted with everything you need for a self-catering room. Amazing staff who go the extra mile. On our last morning, we were treated to two nyala bulls grazing just outside of our room while we were enjoying our coffee on the deck. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the busyness of life and social media/tv as there is no tv and limited cell network.

Overrated!

Tamboti unit does not have its own pool like the other 2 units. Not worth the money at all. We did not even see an impala at our unit that is situated in the bush or any other game for that matter while driving in and out of the game lodge. Thought that this would be a bush glamping experience, but had to drive 28 km out of the game lodge to take my wife for a massage and to actually see game. No self-catering, had to drive out of the lodge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not happy at all, Bushwillow will never see us again.

Bushwillow Collection 's response

Good day Mr Bierbaum,

Thank you for your review. In response, we kindly remind you that Tambotie is advertised as room only, and as a Lodge Room. It is not advertised as self-catering and is also not advertised as having a private pool as the Boutique rooms do.
I am very sorry that Tambotie did not meet your expectations and we will have a look at all the descriptions to ensure there were no errors. We can confirm, though, that Tambotie Lodge is a different room type to the Bushwillow Boutiques and does not have the same facilities.
WIth regards to Kuleni Game Park - this is not a driving property as it is mostly forest vegetation. Guests are welcome to do the various walking trails. The park does have impala, zebra, warthog, wildebeest, etc. but animals are best seen on foot when doing one of the walking trails.

Regards
Bushwillow Team

Kuleni-park op sy beste!

Goed-toegeruste selfsorgeenheid. Die plonspoel was baie lekker en die natuurskoon was kalmerend. Ons het hierdie keer die kameelperde gesien.

Kuleni Park at its best!

Well-equipped self-catering unit. The splash pool was very nice and the scenery was calming. This time we saw the giraffes.

Very quiet in the forest.

Thank you very much Ben for your kindness and helpfulness. It is a pity that our last day was not so successful, because the power was out and we could not have our breakfast with you. Because of the force, we also couldn't take a shower as there was no water.

Great expectations.

We stayed in Tambotie as part of our honeymoon ─ it was fine. The reserve offers a pleasant bush experience, and good boarding, but not much more. I did not think that the price was justified. The weather did dampen things somewhat as well. Specific feedback: The room was not of a high enough standard. Our bacon and eggs were served cold on both mornings, otherwise the staff were pleasant and accommodating ─ can't fault them too much.

Absolutely stunning!

Thank you Bushwillow. It was a fantastic experience. It was our honeymoon and definitely a holiday to remember. The rooms are so clean and service was excellent. Jana assisted us so nicely with activities and she was a great hostess. Definitely a great place to go on holiday! And very private!
