Relaxing, comfortable, stunning.

Incredible stay at Cape Cod Accommodation. We booked the cottage but they gave us the house. Beautiful views, very private and comfortable. We would definitely go back.

Little touches could have gone a long way.

Firstly, the owner tried to convince us that we had booked the cottage as I did change my booking on the website, but selected the main house when paying. He told us that "usually when it is two people they are automatically put in the cottage" , that after a really bad week did not sit well with us and was not the welcome we were expecting. I was literally ready to sleep in the cottage for the night and go back home the next day. After checking he said he was under correction and that we had booked the main house and it would be ready in 1/2 an hour, which it was. Rated 1 for safety for the following reason: We had booked a long weekend during stage 4 loadshedding. I asked in advance whether they had an inverter for tv and use of my laptop for work. The answer was "Yes, just come and relax." There was only 1 plug for the tv which was connected to the owner's home's inverter. We had to ask for a portable light as there were only a couple of candles and it is a large space. We asked for something to boil water on and the owner boiled water and gave it to us in a flask! No gas supplied to cook on during 11:00-1:30 and 19:00-21:30. I guess we were expected to just make do before and after the time. I suggest the owners make the place more loadshedding friendly, this is South Africa and it happens all the time. If one is not up to having guests stay in one's home it is perhaps not the industry to be in anymore. I have worked in the hospitality industry for years and have come to expect the same standard as I would offer to my clients in order for them to feel welcome and make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Absolutely magical stay in Chintsa.

Wow, what an amazing time we had in Chintsa at Cape Cod. We were blown away by the space, the hospitality, the amenities and how comfortable the house was. Our hosts were wonderful and made us feel at home. Truly blessed.

It was a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed the accommodation. The house was lovely. We have three children under the age of 5, and the house had more than enough space for all of us. We could see the ocean from almost every room. Marvyn and Leona are lovely hosts and really went out of their way for us. Thank you very much. Will recommend the house over and over to anyone.

Heerlik gebly in hul pragtige kothuis.

Die kothuis is goed ingerig en mooi. Pragtige stoep om te braai en te sit en die see-uitsig te geniet. Netjies en skoon - als wat mens voor kan vra.

Rustige ervaring

Alles was skoon en netjies. Was baie rustig gewees.

Wonderlike vakansiebestemming!

Cape Cod is ‘n pragtige, gerieflike en baie goed toegeruste huis. Mervyn en Leona is uitstekende gashere! Ons het heerlik gerus, gekuier en die pragtige huis en omgewing vreeslik geniet! Ons sal vir seker weer hierheen terugkeer!

Ongemaklik, teleurstellend.

Ongelukkig het ek aangedring dat ons saam met vriende hier bly vir die jaarlikse wegkomkans. Dit was baie ongemaklik om twee kinders stil te hou aangesien die eienaars in 'n vertrek onder die huis bly, wat nog meer met hout vloere. Die beddegoed was vuil in die gastekamers, die lakens het muf op gehad. Vir die prys wat gevra word verwag ek skoon beddegoed en 'n aangename ruskans. Sal nie weer hier bly nie.

What a marvel!

We are guesthouse and self catering owners ourselves and therefore are well aware of the finer details of running such establishments. Cape Cod ticks all the boxes! A marvellous, place to stay.

Accommodation totally unacceptable for 3 adults.

We felt extremely let down by the owner who had assured me that the cottage/flatlet has housed three adults “many times” before, that the couch was large enough for a tall adult woman to sleep on. Not only is this absolutely not so, but the only bathroom is an en-suite (through the cupboard doors!) off the main bedroom. We were thrown into a complete panic on arrival. Fortunately there was plenty of other accommodation available - what a pity he hadn’t tried to be genuinely helpful.

Asemrowende uitsig en verblyf!

Wat 'n aangename verrassing met ons aankoms by Cape Cod. Bo en behalwe die gasvrye ontvangs van Mervyn en sy vrou, het die huis en omgewing ons selfs meer gebied as wat ons verwag het. Huis is lekker ruim, huislik en pragtig gemeubileer! See-uitsig van verskeie vertrekke, is onbeskryflik mooi! Baie mooi herinneringe is geskep by Cape Cod! Kan verblyf by Cape Cod, definitief hoogs aanbeveel! Dankie, ons het die 4 dae regtig baie geniet!

Letterlik huis weg van die huis - nommerpas vir ons gesin se behoeftes.

Dit is nie aldag dat verblyf so gerieflik en goed toegerus is vir 'n groot gesin met klein kindertjes die. Dit is skoon, netjes, perfek geleë, kindervriendelik en veilig. Ons sal beslis weer hiernatoe toe kom, hierdie keer net met ouma en oupa ook - die ruimte en hoeveelheid slaapplek was 'n groot verrassing, asook die feit dat die pragtige, volledig toegeruste kothuis verdere opsies bied.

Ons het baie lekker gebly en kan dit met vrymoedigheid aanbeveel.

Die eenheid is baie ruim met 'n baie mooi uitsig. Dit was met alles toegerus wat ons benodig het. Ons het baie lekker by Cape Cod Akkommodasie gebly en kan dit met vrymoedigheid aanbeveel.

Die vierde slaapkamer moet geadverteer word as 'n slaapplek vir 'n kind.

Alles was puik en Mervyn was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die huis is baie goed toegerus, netjies, skoon en die beddegoed word gereeld vervang. Daar is voldoende spasie en parkering vir twee gesinne. Sal dit beslis aanbeveel.

Absoluut fantasties, pragtig en skoon.

Ek sal enige persoon aanbeveel om hier tuis te gaan. Werklik waarde vir geld.
