Very peaceful, quiet and secluded.

We had a lovely stay at Celebratio (booked in Lily but stayed in Sias - probably because we arrived too early and they made a plan for us to check in as soon as possible - which we truly appreciated. Both Sias and Lily look exactly the same, so no complaints at all!). Marita was very welcoming, and we got some free pomegranate juice. The place is quite secluded, it is on a farm after all. Very quiet area, which was what we wanted. The place was clean and has the necessary appliances you need while on holiday. There's free Wi-Fi but the network vanishes with load shedding. The road is also good for running (if you're a runner) as there are barely any cars on the road to disturb you. The community seems to be very friendly too. The only minor thing that bothered us was the mosquitoes, probably because it was hot and being on a farm attracts insects. We were provided with repellent though. 5/5 overall. Would definitely stay there again.

Karoo-rustigheid!

Ons was 2 volwassenes, 4 tieners en 'n 5 jarige en ons almal het ons 4 dae op die plaas terdeë geniet. Die huis is lieflik ruim en gebou vir die hitte. Al die kamers het waaiers en die badkamers is modern en pragtig skoon. Die kombuis het alles wat jy nodig het - insluitend 'n skottelgoedwasmasjien en 'n wasmasjien. Die swembad is lieflik en 'n wenner vir die kinders. Ons het regtig lekker gekuier. Marita is 'n wonderlike gasvrou en Evan hou alles netjies en in stand. Ons het gegaan om te rus en die mooi uitsigte in te neem, dus nie veel rond gery nie. Ons was wel Highgate Volstruisplaas toe en het dit ook vreeslik geniet. Karoo tranquility!

We were 2 adults, 4 teenagers and a 5 year old and we all thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days on the farm. The house is lovely spacious and built for the heat. All the rooms have fans and the bathrooms are modern and beautifully clean. The kitchen has everything you need - including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The pool is lovely and a winner for the kids. We really had a great time. Marita is a wonderful hostess and Evan keeps everything neat and tidy. We went to rest and take in the nice views, so didn't drive around much. We did go to Highgate Ostrich Farm and really enjoyed it too. The donkeys were a feast and called every night and morning for someone to feed them. We would really recommend the farm life on Celebratio! Even the teenagers enjoyed it. The only thing that bothered me a bit were the flies (but it's a farm - just take the Doom) and the big house's porch is right in the afternoon sun - just barbecue a little later. Fantastiese naweek!

Ons het die lieflikste langnaweek beleef op die plaas! Die eienaar was die beste, die vriendelikste gasvrou van nog voor ons daar aangekom het en Evan op die plaas is so gaaf en behulpsaam.
