A most disappointing and unpleasant overnight stay.

Shower not working, tap in bathroom basin not working, light in toilet not working, very dusty, oil splatters on wall in kitchen area, thick dust on blinds. Nespresso machine not cleaned etc, etc. For the price charged, I expected above satisfactory accommodation. Do not try to contact Dullstroom Reservations after 13:00 on a Saturday, the phone just rings and rings until it cuts out. Dullstroom seems to be losing the flair it had a couple of years ago. I will not recommend any person to use Cherry Grove Apartments.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience at Cherry Grove. The matter has been brought up to all relevant parties.
You mentioned in your complaint that you tried to call us at 13:00. However I was in the office on Saturday until 2pm and no call came through. During loadshedding and with bad weather telkom goes down so I can understand the missed call if you called the landline. Our afterhours number is listed on all platforms and is written big on the wall of our office. The only contact or communication I had directly with you over the weekend was when you went to "klerekas" to call me and that was around 14:30pm
Our number is on the envelope that your keys were in as well and had you called me once you picked up the issues, I could've solved the problem then.

I hope this experience did not put you off Dullstroom and that you will come and visit our beautiful town again.

Lekker gebly en jul sien ons weer.

Apartment is grossly overpriced and dismal.

The electricity went off in the morning and was restored only once we complained. One can get innumerable better accommodation in Dullstroom at this price. There is not even a soap in the bathroom. Never staying here again and not recommending this apartment to anyone.
